Moondance is a car-top, sleep-aboard, off-shore cruiser for two.....honest! About fifty feet off-shore that is, and in sheltered waters. Unless you're a complete idiot, you don't cruise Labrador, or cross Lake Superior in this boat. But the most interesting and beautiful cruising grounds are the shoreline of the lakes and bays an easy drive from where you live. You can launch Moondance almost anywhere, and camp on about any water you can see.

Over the past few years, I've done lots of two and three day cruises, all delightful! You'll love it, but a word of caution, because, on the water, caution and intelligence are the same. Watch the weather, anchor for the night close to shore (I prefer an easy wade ashore) and show a light.

Plans for SailboatOf course, 90% of her use will be as a day sailor, where her wide beam and clear, padded deck will made her the most stable and comfortable boat you've ever experienced. You'll find there's plenty of room for four adults, and lots of storage for camping gear, cooler, banjo, etc.....Enjoy.
